Mauritius officially the Republic of Mauritius, is an island nation in the Indian Ocean about 2,000 kilometres (1,200 mi) off the southeast coast of the African continent, east of Madagascar. It includes the eponymous main island of Mauritius and Rodrigues, Agaléga and St. Brandon. The islands of Mauritius and Rodrigues form part of the Mascarene Islands, along with nearby Réunion, a French overseas department. Day 1 Arrival at Mauritius
Representative who will assist you with the transfer to the hotel in Mauritius where you check-in. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful city on your own. Day 2 North Island Tour
After breakfast, proceed on a panoramic city tour of Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, via the Citadel & its surrounding area. View the Champ de Mars race course, inaugurated in 1812, it the oldest horse-racing club in the Southern Hemisphere, and one of the oldest in the world. Afterwards drive to Le Caudan/Port Louis Waterfront, with some 170 shops, it is a must shopping stop. Drive back to hotel.
Day 3 South Island Tour
After breakfast, Drive to Curepipe. Visit the ship making factory. Shopping at the duty free shops in Floreal. View the scenic town of Curepipe & its surroundings from the extinct crater of Trou aux Cerfs. Afternoon stop at Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao) sacred lake & view the stunning 108 feet statue of “Mangal Mahadev”. Visit 23 Coloured Earth, the visit to the reserve includes: the visit of Green valleys, Plateaus, Hills, Lakes, Waterfalls, Rivers, Volcanic ashes, 23 Coloured Earth, endemic and Indigenous Flora and fauna and access to the many facilities of the reserve such as the Kids Garden, Cafeteria and the restaurant. Drive back to hotel.
Day 4 Ile Aux Cerfs Tour
After breakfast, Drive to Belle Mare to enjoy aquatic activities like parasailing, undersea walk, waterfall visit or banana tube ride (all activities on extra cost basis). Drive to Trou d’Eau douce for the speedboat transfer to Ile aux Cerfs, the islet with the most beautiful beach and the clearest turquoise water. You are free to explore the island till around 3:30 pm. Later, return back to mainland by speedboat and drive back to hotel.
Departure from Mauritius
After breakfast, proceed to the airport for your flight back home.
